Impinj is thrilled to announce the availability of the Impinj Client for ThingWorx. This connector can easily integrate data from the  Impinj platform into PTC ThingWorx. With this integration, companies can view data about their items of interest in their ThingWorx platform—streamlining inventory and asset management across facilities.

ThingWorx is an application development platform from PTC that allows developers to build value from products and deliver end-to-end IoT solutions to capture business opportunities offered by the pervasiveness of smart things. ThingWorx provides an IoT data analysis engine for real-time data pattern and anomaly detection, automated predictive analysis, and contextualized recommendations.

Once installed and configured, the Impinj Client for ThingWorx provides RAIN RFID data that can be used to manage inventory accuracy and location, track items within a facility, and improve operations, all through the IoT.

Both Impinj and PTC partners can now easily utilize real-time intelligence delivered by the Impinj platform with PTC ThingWorx, to enable a range of industrial use cases such as managing the flow of components in a manufacturing process, or tracking assets within a warehouse, and thus improve operations for their customers.
