Impinj Wins Two ‘IoT Oscars’ at 2020 IoT Star China Awards
The Impinj M700 series tag chips and Impinj R700 RAIN RFID reader were each named “most influential innovation product” at the 2020 IoT Star China Awards in April.
The Impinj M700 tag chip series and the Impinj R700 RAIN RFID reader have won big at what are known as the “Oscars” of the Internet of Things industry.
At the 2020 IoT Star China Awards, the Impinj R700 received an award in the 2020 China Internet of Things (RFID) Industry's Most Influential Innovation Product-Fixed Readers category, while the Impinj M700 series won in the 2020 China Internet of Things (RFID) Industry's Most Influential Innovative Product-RFID Chip Award category.
The annual award ceremony recognizes companies in China that are leading in the IoT industry. Around 400 companies were considered in a variety of categories, which were then voted on by over 600 industry experts. Awards were presented during the Internet of Things Exhibition in April at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center.
This was not the first award for the Impinj R700 RAIN RFID reader, which won best design in the 2020 Core77 Design Awards.
