Your future’s forecast? Sunny with a chance of RAIN
If you’ve purchased apparel from a major retailer like Macy’s or Zara, run a race like the New York City Marathon, or enjoyed a drink from a Coca-Cola Freestyle soda fountain, then you’ve probably interacted with Impinj. Our platform uses RAIN RFID to wirelessly connect everyday items to the internet, delivering digital life to the physical world. We've connected over 18 billion items to the internet so far, but we're not done yet.
Join our talented tech team as one of our engineers and help us build the Internet of Things. Keep reading to learn about our open positions for interns and recent graduates.
Communications Systems Engineer
Communications Systems Engineer doesn’t have to be your middle name, but we’re hoping it’s your passion.
You’d be joining a team working on projects like defining specifications for RF, analog, digital, firmware, and software designs. You may also be asked to simulate and model RAIN RFID communications systems, as well as characterize RAIN RFID system performance, and contribute innovative RAIN RFID solutions for customer use cases. Ready to get started?
IC Design Engineer
The title may not be catchy, but we promise the work is cool.
We're looking for Analog Design Engineers to help develop next generation RAIN RFID tag ICs. Here, you can expect to collaborate closely with digital designers, mask designers and test engineers through all phases of product development to deliver new features and product designs, perform transistor-level design feasibility studies for various analog and mixed-signal circuit blocks, design various analog and mixed-signal blocks, and so much more.
Start building the Internet of Things.
Do the words Internet of Things make your heart beat a little faster?
While your friends may not understand your love of IoT tech, Impinj definitely does. Here, you’d be creating a next generation RAIN RFID platform that turns raw RAIN RFID data into business insights. We want your help building a software stack that scales from on-premise deployments to use in secure environments, or the cloud.
Help us connect the digital and physical worlds.
If you don't know what IDL means, but you definitely want to find out, then you're exactly what we're looking for.
We're seeking a self-starter with a passion for excellent customer service and cutting edge technology. As a RAIN RFID Product Test Engineer for our Impinj Development Lab, you'll engage with an experienced cross-disciplinary staff to conceive and design innovative RAIN reader/gateway features and the various algorithms at the core of our customer solutions. We know—that’s a mouthful. But we’re thinking you’re up to the challenge.
