SEATTLE, March 7, 2022 – Impinj stands with Ukraine in condemning the Russian government’s invasion of Ukraine and the humanitarian crisis and destruction it has caused. Impinj will also do our part in supporting the Ukrainian people in their time of need. Impinj is matching up to $100,000 in employee contributions to humanitarian aid organizations helping Ukraine, for a combined total of up to $200,000 in aid. Impinj has also suspended all product exports into our sales channel to Russia and Belarus and expects its partners to comply with sanctions and export restrictions imposed by the United States and other nations related to this unprovoked and brutal aggression.
“All of us at Impinj are shocked and saddened by this senseless aggression. As a global company, with employees and partners worldwide, we will not turn away.” said Chris Diorio, Impinj co-founder and CEO. “To help the Ukrainian people who need medical care, food, shelter, and support, we have committed to raising $200,000 to support humanitarian aid. We have also suspended all business in and with Russia and Belarus, expect our partners to comply with all sanctions according to US and other countries’ restrictions, and encourage our partners to likewise curtail all their business in and with Russia and Belarus.”
Impinj employees may contribute to the charities of their choice; matching donations will go to the International Committee of the Red Cross and the International Medical Corps by March 14, 2022. Support for humanitarian work in Ukraine is part of Impinj Cares, our corporate giving program.
Impinj joins all those around the world calling for peace, respect for the Ukrainian people, and for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.
