Impinj Hires Erica Beckstrom, Adds New Incentives to Channel Program and Announces Fall Channel Summit
Seattle, WA May 9, 2017 - Impinj (PI), a leading provider of RAIN RFID solutions, today announced at RFID Journal Live that Erica Beckstrom has joined the company as Vice President of worldwide channels. Beckstrom brings over 25 years of experience from Cisco and Sun where she led end-user sales organizations including developing and nurturing channel programs and relationships. Beckstrom and her team will be actively engaging new channel partners and accelerating a broad range of programs with our existing channel partners and distributors.“Investing in talent like Beckstrom will uplevel the way we support and create opportunities for our channel and end customers in this massive IoT opportunity,” said Impinj COO and President Eric Brodersen. “Since joining Impinj, Beckstrom has already bolstered our channel program to help Impinj’s partners effectively adopt and implement RAIN RFID across multiple verticals.”
Impinj’s new channel programs, launching today, enhance our sales incentives, marketing, and sales support. The programs aim to help partners gain competitive advantages and better sell the Impinj platform, including products like xSpan gateways, and the new Indy RS1000 surface-mount modules. Impinj also announced a Channel Summit to take place this fall, to help partners learn about the industry, platform, and channel program opportunities available; we will announce more details in the coming months.

She also has a decades-long passion for diversity as evident in her service on the Board of Directors for FIRST Washington as well as her mentorship role at 9Mile Labs, focusing on encouraging and supporting women and disadvantaged communities. When she and her husband are not at home in Kirkland with their four pets, they like to explore small towns and find new restaurants.
