Sumikin Bussan to Distribute Impinj RFID Products in Japan

Leading UHF Gen 2 radio frequency identification (RFID) technology provider Impinj, Inc. and global trading company Sumikin Bussan today announced that Sumikin Bussan will sell the Impinj Speedway® family of RFID reader and antenna products throughout Japan, ensuring that Japanese RFID solution providers now have easy access to the world's leading UHF Gen 2 technology for a wide variety of applications and markets.

Seattle, WA September 9, 2009 - Leading UHF Gen 2 radio frequency identification (RFID) technology provider Impinj, Inc. and global trading company Sumikin Bussan today announced that Sumikin Bussan will sell the Impinj Speedway® family of RFID reader and antenna products throughout Japan, ensuring that Japanese RFID solution providers now have easy access to the world's leading UHF Gen 2 technology for a wide variety of applications and markets.

Sumikin Bussan is a leading trading company with deep relationships in numerous key industrial markets throughout Japan and first-hand experience piloting RFID technology in their own apparel supply chain. The relationship with Sumikin Bussan signifies the growing importance and value of UHF RFID technology solutions and strengthens the global presence of the Impinj brand.
