| INTRODUCING SPEEDWAY® REVOLUTION READER AUTOPILOT TECHNOLOGY MAKES SUPERIOR PERFORMANCE EASY Available now, the Speedway® Revolution reader, Impinj's next-generation reader, provides outstanding performance and ease of use. The reader's Autopilot technology continuously and automatically optimizes the reader for its operating environment to deliver peak performance at all times. Because RFID system performance depends upon a multitude of ever-changing environmental conditions (including RF interference levels, tag density in the reader field, and ambient RF noise) users often configure readers for worst-case scenarios, compromising optimum performance in the process. Autopilot delivers peak performance, while eliminating the need for manual tuning by integrating several innovative features, including:

Indy R2000 includes carrier cancellation technology to enhance read accuracy and range, improved transmit phase noise to ease support for global regulatory requirements, increased protocol configurability and access to advanced radio features. Motorola chose the R2000 for the design of their FX7400 fixed reader.
“When it came to selecting a reader chip for our new fixed reader, the FX7400, Indy R2000 was the obvious choice. The R2000 had the high-performance, low power consumption, and design support tools that we needed. Impinj produced a world-class reader chip and their support has been fantastic.”
PACKAGED MONZA™ 3 TAG CHIPS Impinj recently announced the availability of Monza™ 3 tag chips in a packaged format. Packaged Monza 3 are fully supported by standard PCB surface-mount assembly techniques, enabling easy integration into products designed with printed circuit boards (PCBs), as well as other electronic applications where solderable connections are preferred. By using a μDFN package, Impinj has created the industry’s smallest and lowest profile tag chip part, and extends the advantages of Monza 3 to PCB applications and ruggedized tag designs. RFID solution provider Mighty Card selected the packaged Monza 3 chip to drive its most critical asset tagging application.
“We partnered with Impinj for one of our most important projects, the pallet rental application for Japan Pallet Rental Corporation. Impinj’s tag chip performance and innovative antenna design exceeded our expectations. We put the tags through extraordinarily rigorous testing—beyond our actual needs—and they survived. From delivery to performance, Impinj was excellent.”
